"The beginning of the gong"

Fujiyoshi:
A few years ago, when I was worried about what to do with the business model of the future, the first opportunity was that a representative of a securities company introduced me to Chairman Terayama. Most of the stories were about music and cooking rather than about business, but the story of media making was also impressive since the early days of Japan’s Internet. It’s also true that working with this person gave me the intuitive impression that I can maximize the value of manufacturing I have cultivated in the past.

Terayama:
Fujiyoshi’s first impression is the protagonist of the hit TV drama “Shitamachi Rocket”. Since I was a student, I studied in China and started a business, and I was impressed with the world-class manufacturing around IT, but poor sales, but looking forward to the future. I thought it was a “good guy” as a human being. The entrance to my selection is the sensitivity as a person.

Fujiyoshi:
TRANZAS will be reborn as a peaceful. In the past, we have made several business changes based on technology orientation. We have accumulated small results with each change and have come to the present day, but we are still not satisfied with the results. However, I am proud that the core technology of manufacturing and the accumulation of experience have reached the level that can be proud of in the world.
All we have to do now is turn this value into a business that contributes to concrete social contribution. I think that it is the reborn figure of P3 that embodies that.

"There are great business opportunities in the transition of media"

Terayama:
In the past, the transition of Japanese media has moved from “paper media”, which represents newspapers and magazines, to “wave media” that carries radio and television waves, and to “network media” of the Internet that utilizes communication. The head has changed. The media has changed from “paper” to “wave” and from “wave” to “net”. I have been doing business with these media as a platform.
About 20 years ago, there was a big change. Introducing “i-mode”. At that time, pagers became popular, and the “i-mode” service, which communicates their functions to mobile phones via the Internet, started. I was shocked and the media in the future was an event that I was convinced that this “palm media” would become the head, and it was the beginning. Around this time, I was also listening to the future plans for i-mode smartphones from my carrier.

Fujiyoshi:
At that time, I was facing the evolution of Internet technology in Taiwan, which was the global center of IT technology. It was around that time that I started the first manufacturing process in order to make the new form of information and communication called IP a business. I was devoted to manufacturing, focusing on the IP structure centering on the network layer from the physical layer that transmits that information rather than the application layer on which i-mode operates.
About 10 years later, I went to Peking University with an MBA, but this manufacturing in Taiwan has had a great influence on our company since the beginning of my life. The core technology of our DOOH network is currently being formed by the accumulation of technology from that time.

Terayama:
Immediately, I wanted to create the world’s number one platform with this “Tedai media,” and at that time, my company had several major newspaper publishers, and NTT was also a shareholder. The news site “The News” was established with the background of being a company created by the company and also including government public relations. Two years after the establishment, 9.7 million people became the member’s largest megasite. Billing sites and commerce sites were also created on the site and used by many people, which became a major cornerstone of the smartphone business that started several years ago. The platform business is a worthwhile job and I think it is a useful job for society.

"Environmental platform is in progress"

Fujiyoshi:
I’m challenging for a platform business that addresses global environmental problems. We are aiming to make full-scale efforts to reduce energy and labor costs by reducing the number of people, which is essential in the age of digital transformation, mainly in Southeast Asia. In the Southeast Asian market where I can immediately tackle new themes, my idea is to first create a successful digital transformation pattern, import it back into Japan, and further spread it around the world.

"There are people ahead"

Terayama:
Any service is for the person, the service must not be the mechanism for the service.
I think we must not forget that any service always has “people ahead”. I strongly want to follow this idea when creating platforms for P3.
